Language is an incredible tool that humans possess! It has the power to expresse (express) emotions, share ideas and connect people from all around the world. Without it, we would struggle to communicate with one another. But language isn't just a way of talking; it's also written. Written language can be used for fun (like in stories!) or for informational purposes (like in textbooks).
Furthermore, language isn't static; it continuously adapts and changes as society does. We see this most notably when new words are added to dictionaries every year to keep up with the times. For instance, recently there have been neologisms such as 'bromance' and 'FOMO' added to popular lexicons which were previously not found in any form of writing!
Moreover, different languages contain unique characters that have unique sounds and meanings. This adds a layer of complexity to communication due to needing knowledge of multiple languages in order to understand what someone is saying or writing. Some examples include Spanish's "ñ" character or Chinese's Mandarin pronunciation system which uses tones instead of vowels like English does!
Finally, language has become so powerful that it can even shape our thoughts and opinions on certain topics. Our decisions are heavily influenced by the words we come across on a daily basis – whether they be spoken or written – leading us down paths we might never have gone before had we not encountered them. As such, it's important for us all to be mindful about how we use language in order for its power not to be misused or abused negatively!
Indeed, language is an invaluable asset that allows us humans to express ourselves freely without boundaries. It should truly serve as an example on how powerful communication can really be!
